The Yoga Tree encourages students to be comfortable with their practice and their bodies by creating a safe, non-competitive environment. All of our classes are designed for practitioners of all levels with modifications offered to those new to yoga and those wanting to go deeper into their physical practice.
A creative and dynamic form of yoga that uses breath to link physical yoga postures. Each class is different and postures are sequenced in a way to help increase flexibility, strengthen and tone muscles, and allow you to tune in to your body’s own rhythm. Although all levels are welcome, a reasonable level of fitness/mobility is required.
This beginner's vinyasa class will take you back to the fundamentals of yoga in order to build a strong foundation and understanding of proper alignment and technique in some of your most basic yoga poses. Class will move slowly and thoughtfully with time for exploration of your body and breath.
Enjoy a 90 min heat building flow steeped in sound alignment. Class wi in a studio light by candlelight. Sound just right for a Tuesday night? IT IS! A slow paced vinyasa class balancing the perfect amount of effort and ease. Beginners and seasoned practitioners alike will benefit from the pace and inward-focus of this class. Expect to leave feeling mellow, refreshed and alive.
Gentle Fusion Flow
A fusion of gentle vinyasa flow with Qi Gong, an ancient method of healing and disease prevention. Combine fluid breath synchronized yoga postures with free flowing qi gong movements to simultaneously energize, relax, and bring peaceful harmony to mind, body and spirit. In this class you can expect to stretch, improve balance and flexibility, reduce tension and anxiety, and find your quiet center.

Restore & Renew
Skip the sweaty and go straight to the sweet in this gentle, meditative class. Soothing and restorative, it melds several types of yoga (yin, restorative, slow flow vinyasa) in a complimentary way to help you channel quiet and calm in your body. Class will begin by passively holding poses with the support of props (blankets, blocks, and bolsters) to promote increased energy flow, balance, and the quieting of a busy mind, and will conclude with a slow flow vinyasa practice and more restorative poses to prepare your body for a blissful savasana. Expect to leave feeling restored and renewed.
