Program & Tuition
The Nervous System Reset Teacher Certification Program is a 40-hour hybrid continuing education training registered with Yoga Alliance. Tuition varies by enrollment tier and includes your training manual and first-year certification fee. An annual renewal fee of $150 applies to maintain active certification.
Payment plans are available. All payment obligations must be fulfilled regardless of program completion status.
Cancellations & Refunds
Your $500 enrollment deposit is non-refundable. Tuition paid beyond the deposit is refundable if cancellation is requested in writing before the program start date. No refunds are issued once the program has begun.
If you are unable to complete your enrolled cohort, you may defer to the next available cohort one time, at no charge, provided the request is made before the second weekend and you complete the program within 12 months of your original start date.
Certification
To receive your Certified Teacher designation you must complete all 40 program hours and teach one public Nervous System Reset class within 90 days of the final training weekend. Certification must be renewed annually.
Intellectual Property & Confidentiality
The Nervous System Reset method — including its name, structure, sequencing, scripts, somatic protocols, and all training materials — is the original work of Allyson Vallieres and is protected by copyright and trademark law. Enrollment does not transfer any ownership of the method or its components.
You agree to keep all program content confidential and not to reproduce, share, or distribute training materials in any form, including on social media, unless provided to you by the program.
Your License to Teach
Upon certification, you receive a limited, revocable license to teach the Nervous System Reset method and identify yourself as a Certified Teacher. You may make minor structural adaptations to serve specific student populations, provided the core method remains intact. Written approval is required for anything beyond minor adjustments.
You may not train or certify other teachers in this method. That right is reserved exclusively by the program owner.
Conduct Standards
As a Certified Teacher you agree to:
Always obtain explicit consent before offering physical assists or Reiki touch, and immediately honor any withdrawal of consent
Maintain clear professional boundaries with all students
Never make clinical or therapeutic claims about Reiki or somatic work
Represent the method accurately and never speak on behalf of the brand in any official capacity
Maintain professional liability insurance for your teaching practice
Revocation
Certification may be revoked for breach of these terms, failure to renew, unauthorized use of materials or the brand, conduct violations, or actions that harm the reputation of The Nervous System Reset. Revocation related to student safety may be immediate. Upon revocation, you must immediately cease all use of the name, marks, and Certified Teacher designation.
Post-Certification Restriction
For two years following revocation or voluntary surrender of certification, you may not teach, market, or promote any program under the name "The Nervous System Reset" or any confusingly similar name, or use proprietary materials as the basis for any other offering. This does not restrict you from teaching yoga, somatic work, sound healing, or Reiki generally.
General
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The Yoga Tree LLC reserves the right to update these terms with 30 days' notice. Nothing in this agreement creates an employment or agency relationship.
