Yoga develops strength and stamina, increases body awareness, and, in the case of pregnancy, deepens the bond between mama and baby. Through yoga we seek to quiet the mind, and draw our focus inward, to listen for the innate wisdom we have within.
Prepare to move, breathe, and connect with other mamas-to-be in this 2-hour monthly workshop. Each class will begin with a focus on building community via open dialogue or a more structured dyad. You will be guided through a 60-75 min asana practice, incorporating (modified) vinyasa, strengthening poses, breath work, and meditation. We will close with a deeper, more holistic discussion around the changes and challenges you are experiencing during this transitional time. You will leave feeling strong and powerful, rejuvenated and supported.
